Haha. Wow. It's been a month since I last updated. Oh dear. Anyways, not much has been going on.
April 16th I saw Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World, and The Format <---- They're pretty dang sweet, in Rhoide Island. It was awesome. Format came first. They played a nice set. Then JEW came on. I don't like them very much, but they're set up was cool. They had a bunch of TVs on the stage, that notwithstanding they played a long set and they were kinda boring. Only because they don't talk to the crowd at all. They hardly said three words. During their set we went out to the merch table and bought the Format's CD. All of you JEW fans, please don't hurt me. Heh...
Then TBS came on. We had actual seats, not floor. But you could see pretty good anyways. TBS played all of my old and new favourites like, "Set Phasers", "Little Devotional", "Bike Scene", "Great Romances", "The Union", and others. I don't remember the order. After about 5 songs, they played "You're So Last Summer" all of the kids started jumping over the walls to get to the floor, so we joined in. Once we got down there we beasted to the front. The moshes were fucking awesome. I tried a few times, but I can't say that moshing is my fortee. I had a button down shirt and a tie on, seeing as I didn't expect to be down on the floor, so my shirt kept coming off. No one really seemes to care. I got hit in the face by some kids side and almost broke my nose. It was fucking sweet. And then a crowd surfer tried to choke me with her legs. Then her ass went over the barrier. After we got down there they played 'Cute Without the 'E'", "New American Classic", and they played two new songs. One was called "What It Feels Like To Be A Ghost", and I don't recall the name of the other, but they were both awesome. Then they played "Decade" and went off the stage. After a few chants of one more song they came back out and played "This Photograph" and for their last song they played "Timberwolves". I had some really good pictures that I took from my phone, but they got deleted. It's all good.
We stayed in Rhode Island for the night and the next day we went to Newport to see the mansions, they were really neat. Yup, they were neat.
This Sunday is BAMBOOZLE FEST. I'm gonna try and see Circa Survive, Boys Night Out, The Explosion, and of course My Chemical Romance. We're gonna make shirts and bracelets all special for the show. S'gonna be amazing. |

I found out I'm going to see Velvet Revolver. I think we have really good seats, too. They're playing in my town, which has never happened. I can't say they're my favourite band, but hey, Slash is in the band, and he's the coolest kid. I think Hoobastank is playing with them, too. Eh...
And I'm going to day 3 of Bamboozle. Anyone else going? Let me know!
Also, check out this new band from Tarantula Records The Static Age. The sound kinda like The Cure and HIM. Kinda. On their new album which drops TOMORROW (March 29) they have remixes by the one and only Jade Puget of AFI, and Dave of The Explosion. And plus, they're names after a Misfits album! All the more reason to listen. And If you don't know The Explosion, I highly suggest you check them out! HERE. While you're at it, just go check out ALL of the bands on Tarantula Records, and join the Street Team, 'cause they hook you the fuck up! For one mission I got about 100 stickers, flyers, posters etc etc., and that shit is FREE. Oh hells yeah. GO DO IT! |

Dang, yo. I haven't updated in a mad long time.
Anyway, not much going on around here. I dyed my hair black today. I think it looks pretty dang sweet.
I bought "Static Age" byt the Misfits, and I think I'm in love. My religion teacher also lent me two of his Misfits records. Yeah, my religion teacher.
I went to a local hardcore show the other day. It was really great. I met some pretty cool kids.

I saw Constantine today. I didn't like it that much. It was really cool, but I didn't really understand it. And I watched The Notebook yesterday. The kid who played Noah was Quinn and Fred's lovechild...
On Steven's Untiles Rock Show this week, they interviewed the Used, and Jepha was naked. And then on Friday they had MCR, and Frank was on Bob's shoulders. Good times, good times.

So, this weekend I went to Tower Records and got a Kerrang! It had a poster of Gerard in it, so I had to get it. It's an issue from like three months ago, but that's what I get for living in the States. And then my mom called a Vampire and the Grim Reaper, like it's supposed to be an insult...
I wanted to go to Take Action Tour on Wednesday to see Anberlin, but I can't. Ah well.
I have pink eye.
And because I'm so dog-gone smart, I got asked to study in England this summer. I really hope I can do it!

Damn, this oughta be a long ass entry.
Yaiight. So we got there about 1 1/2 hours early, and it was fucking cold! It was only 20 or something. So some kids behind us decided to light a cardboard box on fire, and then the fire department came with about 3 trucks to put it out. It was classic
After a trip to a crappy-ass taco joint, and the worst capuccino ever, we finally got in. We went to go buy mad shit. I got an MCR neck tie, and the NJ Murder Scene hoodie. I got a Used poster after the show too. And while we were at the merch table Bob came by. So we (I went with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) three_x_cheers, and my cousin Ethan) asked him to sign stuff, and we got a picture with him. He was such a nice kid! Two down, three to go!
Then A Static Lullaby came on. They were mad good. Not much went on there. Then UnderOATH came on. Holy shit! The moshes were fuckin' insane! They were really great! Definetly worth seeing. We skipped out on Killswitch and sat outside for a bit. Then we went back for Senses Fail. They were awesome, and they played all my favourite songs. Choke On This and Rum Is For Drinking owned yo. Buddy was talking about Lindsay Lohan..
So...then came MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. This was my third time seeing them. We were mad close to the front. It was awesome. The only old song they played was 'Honey...' which was kinda sad, but whatever. They kicked off with 'I'm Not Okay', and then they played 'Thank You For The Venom', 'Cemetery Drive', 'To The End', 'Guys Like Us In Prison', 'Ghost of You', 'Give 'Em Hell Kid', and they ended with 'Helena'. Gee was singing 'Here Comes The Bride' and was babbling about other random stuff, it was great. We saw Mrs. Way for like the millionth time. It's sad how I have better pictures of Mrs. Way than anyone else...Hah, before 'Give 'Em Hell Kid' Gerard said, "This is about the time that Bert got knocked up!" and it made me laugh so hard. Then instead of saying "There's no way I'm kissing that guy!" He said 'There's no way I'm sucking him off!' Classic, classic. They put on a wonderful show as always.
Then The Used took about 27 years to come on, but when they did it was fucking insane. Everyone was throwing bras and underwear at him. It was great. They kicked off with 'Take It Away' then 'Listening'. They also played 'I Caught Fire' where Bert said, 'This a song that Quinn wrote about your mom.' Oh, dear Bert. We had to get out less than half way through the set cause we seriously would have passed out. I got a drink and puked in the water fountain. Then we went back but we didn't go all the way back in the crowd, we just kinda chilled in the back. They played 'Taste of Ink' and 'Blue and Yellow'. Before 'BAY' Bert was talking about best friends and shit, then after the show, Bert and Quinn kissed and it was They didn't play 'Box of Sharp Objects' which made me sad, but it's cool. Then they played 'I'm A Fake' to end the show. Bert kept talking about how wet his pussy was. He's the greatest man. Then we hung around a little to see if we could see anyone but we didn't. Ah well, 'tis all good, yo!
It was such a great show!! Can't wait until Warped.

Oh, you guys.
Went to NYC with Amanda this weekend, then it was more trips to the Milton Mall. A lot more ocurred, but I don't feel like putting it. But we did get attacked by Hitler.
Got my TBS/JEW tickets. I wish there were more local shows around here. The scene fucking blows over here, it does.

So, this week had been full of "Cemetery Romps" with Amanda (three_x_cheers. If we had a car, they'd be Cemetery Drives, but we don't so they're romps. We went looking for Ladies of Sorrow, and we found a few. And then we found a great one, and named her Helena. Yeah, we're that cool. We took pictures, too, they should be occurring soon. We found a stone that said 'BERTRAM'. It was sweet.
And yesterday, Kristen (poisonskittles0) occurred at Brooks and we had chips on the sidewalk, you guys! Good times right thurr.
Hmm...what else is new? Nothing. Been listening to Rancid for the last hour. Hells yeah. You're looking at the coolest kid right hurr. Matt Freeman owns your soul. As do Lars, Tim, and Brett. Yeah, I went there.

Then we went to the movies with Kristen and saw Meet The Fockers. Amanda ate a receipt and threw up.

Hey, kids.
Today I went to the mall. I got my cartilidge pierced again, this time I put a barbell in. Amanda didn't have as good of a time as I did. Hahaha. I had $120 in Hot Topic gift cards, so I got some mad awesome orange stich pants (and I got the saftey pin stuck in my back...so much for saftey...) and a seatbelt belt. And Amanda got shirt because she's cool like that. =/ Charlie came too.
I changed my name and birthday today.
I got a case of lime Fruit 2o.
We're supposed to get like 2 feet of snow, too.

Weel kids, today I went to Amanda's A.K.A. three_x_cheers house, and we did things. We walked to Brooks and bought mad candy (*cough* Pop Rocks..), and then we bought GERITOL, because it had Ger in it. Yeah, we're that obsessed. We took some, too. Then as we were watching Garden State we decided to snort a few Pop Rocks and see what would happen. They totally do pop in your nose! But it burns a little...
Then we watched TRL with MCR. Dude, Frankie's hair! It was shaved and bleached on the sides, and he had a black mohawk. He was wearing more eye makeup than Gerard today. <3

I have the best dreams ever. Yes I do. First came AFI and the fish, then backyard wrestling and lip biting with Mikey, then Pixie Bert, and now the longest dream ever involving Tee, Bert, some kid in pinstripe pants I saw at the mall yesterday, and SOTY. Oh, how I love it. I should start writing them all down here. Hmm....
I had the best conversation yesterday about the perfect weekend. It all starts with riding tools over to Adam Lazzara's house, and end with everyone getting married and going on a honeymoon to Idaho. Good times right thurr.
I bought 'Siren Song of the Counter Culture' and 'Dookie' yesterday.
